The experiment was aimed to learn the effect of balance forage : concentrates on feed dairy cattle to milk production and quality, specially milk fat and solid non fat was implemented about 60 days in the Technical Implementation Unit Mulyorejo and Livestock Breeding Semarang District. The benefits of this study to give farmers information. The material was used in this experiment were 9 FH dairy cattle which consists of 6 in the VIII lactations and 3 in the VII lactations with body weight estimation were between 400-486 kg and milk production between 5.5-8 liters. Feed used forage and concentrates. The experimental design used Latin Square Design with 3 treatments. That was the balance forage : concentrate (T1 = 40 : 60, T2 = 45 : 55, T3 = 50 : 50%). The results were analyzed by the F test which continued by Least Significant Difference test ( LSD ). The parameters were observed include milk fat and solid non fat content. The results showed that the balance forage and concentrates on feed dairy cattle FH did not influence ( P > 0.05) milk fat and solid non fat content (g/cattle/day), T1 = 242.04, T2 = 260.49 and T3 = 276.47. It was concluded that the feed dairy cattle by the balance forage and concentrates in the range of 40-60 % did not change the percentage of milk fat and solid non fat.
